• Singing in choir lifts me out of myself and allows me to get my mind away from any stress that may have built up over the week. At choir my problems literally float away.

Erin Selin, age 16 (Chamber Choir)
  • We set out for our first Cantilon Christmas concert last year assuming it would be formatted like most children’s Christmas concerts, only with much better singing. We couldn’t have been more wrong! Imagine: multiple choirs performing together in various combinations, singing this beautiful music that will inevitably have you covered in full-body goosebumps…not to mention the opportunity to sing and listen in one of the most beautiful concert halls in the world. It was the most impressive, entertaining and professional Christmas concert we have EVER been to, hands down, and one of the most exciting and positive experiences our son has ever had.

    Michelle Roy, parent (Primary Choir)
  • What I really, really love about choir camp is all the singing all day. And my piece of advice is to get tons of sleep because it’s rehearsal back to back to back!

Nadia Baxandall, age 12 (Children's Choir)
  • I joined Cantilon when I was 5 or 6 years old. Some of the friends that I made through choir when I was in elementary school are still some of my best friends in the world. Choir rehearsals are my favorite part of the week. Whenever I have exciting news the first people I want to tell are Heather and the choir. The Chamber Choir is honestly a second family to me and I can’t imagine my life without Cantilon.

Annika Hanson, age 17 (Chamber Choir)
  • The thing I will never forget from the tour [to Debrecen, July 2014] is seeing how happy people were and how much they appreciated the music we work so hard on and are so proud to perform.

Jessa Clarkson, age 16 (Chamber Choir)
