The Cantilon Chamber Choir’s début recording , That Yongë Child, is a collection of seasonal masterpieces for treble voices. Works both large and small reflect the joy and the wonder of the Christmas season. The texts of these works, ranging from the 15th to the 20th centuries, express the infinite variety of emotion that is evoked by the miracle of the Christ Child’s birth. From our house to yours, we wish you the very merriest of holidays and hope that all who listen will enjoy this invitation to our choral feast. The record’s anchor is Benjamin Britten’s well-loved A Ceremony of Carols.
